AVEX International acquires Yielder

Avex, a Netherlands-based firm specializing in audiovisual and communications solutions, has acquired Yielder Audiovisual, previously known as Hecla, for an undisclosed amount. The move is designed to broaden Avex's presence in the ProAV and digital signage market by enhancing its service offerings and geographical reach within the Benelux region and the United Kingdom.

The acquisition bolsters Avex's market position, particularly in the eastern Netherlands, and allows it to tap into niche sectors such as the funeral and wedding markets, where Yielder has established a foothold. Avex's strategy focuses on expanding its AV and experience business, integrating more comprehensive solutions for its clientele, both domestic and international. This acquisition also incorporates Yielder's operations, thus adding to Avex's portfolio of services.

For Yielder, the deal represents a significant shift in its strategic direction. Originating from a conglomerate of approximately 15 IT and communications firms, Yielder has shifted focus toward its core competencies. By divesting its audiovisual arm, Yielder aims to streamline its operations and concentrate on expanding its IT and communications service offerings.
