Relation Insurance Services has acquired the assets of Thorn Creek Insurance Services, a property and casualty insurance provider based in Springfield, Illinois. Although financial details were not disclosed, the transaction finalized on January 31, 2026. This acquisition is aimed at enhancing Relation's presence and capabilities in the agricultural insurance market, adding Thorn Creek’s focus areas such as farm, business, livestock, and commercial agriculture coverage to its platform.

Thorn Creek, established in 2011 by Troy Alexander, extends its reach nationwide by offering an array of insurance products including home, auto, life, trucking, and pollution legal liability. These offerings will integrate into Relation’s broader suite of risk management and benefits consulting services. With headquarters in Illinois, Thorn Creek brings specialized expertise particularly valuable to Relation’s continued expansion into agricultural insurance, which is a key segment for Relation.
