Sciens Building Solutions has acquired Southern Fire Control, a fire protection services company based in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The acquisition expands Sciens' footprint in Florida, a market where it first established a presence in 2016 with the acquisition of WSA Systems in Boca Raton. Details of the transaction, including financial terms, were not disclosed.

Southern Fire Control, founded in 1990, specializes in fire sprinkler systems and operates across South Florida. The company has built a reputation for high-quality fire protection products and services, serving sectors such as education, healthcare, hospitality, and residential housing. Both companies underscored the strategic fit, with Southern Fire Control’s long-standing experience aligning with Sciens' growth ambitions. Sciens' CEO Terry Heath emphasized the significance of Florida in the company's strategy, highlighting the continuous expansion with now eight locations in the state and nearly 600 employees serving the region.
