Kampgrounds of America, Inc. has acquired the Richmond KOA Holiday campground in eastern Indiana, further expanding its presence in the hospitality sector. Jeremy and Alley Baldwin, the new operators of the Richmond KOA Holiday, bring a wealth of experience in hospitality, design, and operations. Jeremy, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, together with Alley, an architect with a history of high-profile projects, are set to implement enhancements at the facility. The Baldwins previously owned the Decatur/Wheeler Lake KOA Holiday, bringing continuity and expertise to their latest venture.

Strategically located near Interstate 70, the Richmond KOA Holiday offers a convenient destination for travelers exploring the region between Dayton, Ohio, and Indianapolis. The campground combines a rural setting with accessibility to local amenities, catering to families and tourists. The site features a stocked fishing pond, pool, and mini golf. Planned enhancements, including an outdoor laser tag arena and a wine-tasting venue, align with KOA's goal of offering diverse and appealing attractions for a broad audience.
