Faymonville acquires Morello

Faymonville Group has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Morello, a Turin-based producer of electric heavy-load transport vehicles. The acquisition aims to broaden Faymonville's portfolio, particularly in self-propelled solutions for intralogistics operations. The move will integrate Morello's battery-operated vehicles, which are designed to transport substantial industrial loads within factory settings, into Faymonville's existing lineup.

Morello's vehicles, noted for their capability to handle payloads starting from five tonnes, complement Faymonville's existing offerings, such as the Eco500 and Eco1000 series by Cometto. This acquisition is expected to enhance Faymonville's appeal in industries that demand precise intralogistics solutions, including railway, steel, energy, nuclear, and defence sectors. This strategic alignment is presented as a response to growing market demands for emission-free and low-noise equipment, leveraging the electric engines that define Morello's product line.
