Rhenus Group acquires LBH Group

Rhenus Group has completed the acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in LBH Group, cementing full ownership of the global port agency. The move, which finalizes Rhenus's strategy to fully integrate LBH into its operations, is intended to enhance its service offerings in the maritime logistics sector. LBH Group, recognized for its global presence with business sites in 24 countries, will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Rhenus. LBH Group is known for managing vessels involved in handling bulk goods, liquid cargo, containers, and general cargo. The acquisition involved buying out the remaining shares from the Lagendijk family, previously LBH's co-owners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
