HR Path acquires Inspire Human Resources
HR Path, a global human resources consultancy based in Paris, has expanded its footprint in North America through the acquisition of Inspire Human Resources, a boutique firm headquartered in New York. The deal, for which financial terms were not disclosed, represents a strategic move to strengthen HR Path’s advisory capabilities in the region.
Inspire Human Resources, established by Jaime Klein in 2007, specializes in providing fractional HR services, including interim and project-based roles. The consultancy offers expertise across key HR domains such as talent management, acquisition, and total rewards, with a clientele spanning from startups to Fortune 500 firms. Klein, who has experience in HR leadership at American Express and Commerce One, will continue to lead her 15-member team under the new ownership.
For HR Path, the acquisition is a means to deepen its advisory offering while reinforcing its market presence in the U.S., a region the French company entered in 2011. The firm had previously enhanced its U.S. operations through acquisitions such as ClearCourse and PredictiveHR. CEO François Boulet emphasized the value of Inspire HR’s seasoned team in enhancing HR Path’s ability to drive organizational transformation for its clients worldwide.
This acquisition highlights HR Path’s ongoing commitment to expanding its comprehensive suite of HR services, which includes consulting, implementation of HR solutions, and outsourcing. In a competitive sector where firms like Korn Ferry and Mercer continue to dominate, HR Path’s acquisitions underscore its ambition to assert a stronger presence, particularly in the North American market, which remains a critical growth frontier for international HR consultancies.
Looking ahead, Inspire HR will continue to operate under its own brand as “Inspire HR, an HR Path Company,” retaining its existing leadership and team. This continuity is expected to facilitate a seamless integration process, allowing both firms to leverage each other’s strengths without disruption. The completion of this acquisition marks another step in HR Path’s strategy to become a leading global entity in HR transformation.
