Google has intensified its commitment to the artificial intelligence landscape by investing $40 billion in AI startup Anthropic. The investment, confirmed on April 24, underscores Google's strategic interest in the burgeoning AI sector and its confidence in Anthropic's potential to drive advancements in AI research and infrastructure.

The financial arrangement involves an immediate injection of $10 billion at a $350 billion valuation, mirroring the AI firm’s February funding round.
