AF Gruppen ASA acquires H.A. Bygg Entreprenad AB

Founded in 1986, H.A. Bygg Entreprenad AB has established itself as a leading firm in concrete services. The company employs 62 staff members and has delivered an average turnover of SEK 360 million from 2022 to 2024, achieving a commendable operating margin of 10% during this timeframe. The deal values the company at up to MSEK 140 on a debt-free basis, with contingent payments tied to the company’s profitability between 2026 and 2028, to be settled in 2029.

Strategically, this acquisition augments AF Gruppen’s construction capabilities, particularly in the niche of water and wastewater treatment facilities, a growing area of infrastructure investment. H.A. Bygg will maintain its operational independence by continuing to operate as a separate entity within AF Gruppen's existing Swedish operations.
