InVideo acquires GoBo Labs
Invideo, an AI-powered video creation platform, has acquired the Indian AI creative studio GoBo Labs. The transaction, which remains undisclosed, positions Invideo to fortify its AI-led creator platform by assimilating innovative AI-first filmmaking capabilities developed by GoBo Labs. The deal stands significant as it reflects Invideo's commitment to enhancing its platform with cutting-edge AI tools while maintaining focus on creator-centric product development.
The acquisition involves GoBo Labs, an early player in India’s AI-driven creative scene, known for merging animatics, visual effects, and narrative storytelling through AI-enabled workflows. GoBo Labs has garnered recognition through campaigns with major brands such as Hindustan Times, Lux, Vaseline, Gulf Oil, Fabelle, and Mahindra. Co-founders Hridaye Ashish Nagpal, Vishal Balsara, and Nishant Tahilramani will join Invideo, aiming to reinforce Invideo’s product roadmap with a strong focus on experimental and creator-driven approaches.
