Riverview Landscapes has acquired Giannini Landscaping and Holiday Lighting, a move that marks Riverview's initial establishment on Long Island. Headquartered in Lindenhurst, New York, Giannini provides commercial landscaping, holiday lighting, and snow management services.

Founded in 1977 by Mitch Giannini, the business was acquired by Mike Kaplan in 2019. Kaplan's acquisition aimed to drive growth and diversify services. Riverview CFO Liam Burrell noted that Giannini's expertise in holiday lighting will enhance Riverview's winter service offerings. The acquisition will see the Lindenhurst site become Riverview's West Suffolk County branch, forming part of its New York operations alongside other branches in Northern and Southern New Jersey, and New England.

The acquisition offers strategic advantages for Riverview, providing a physical presence in Long Island to fuel organic growth in the area. Mike Laudando, a veteran with over 20 years at Giannini, will continue to lead operations at the Lindenhurst branch.
