Suntera Group acquires Eacllc.com
Suntera Global has announced an agreement to acquire Experienced Advisory Consultants (EAC), a US-based provider of outsourced and operational support services for alternative investment managers. This acquisition is set to bolster Suntera’s capabilities in the United States, further broadening its geographical reach and service offerings. The deal is expected to complete in May, following satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
EAC specializes in servicing a diverse clientele that includes hedge funds, private equity and venture capital firms, broker-dealers, funds of hedge funds, and family offices. The acquisition will expand Suntera's existing footprint in the US, adding new offices in Florida and Connecticut, and builds on its previous acquisition of Socium, now operating as Suntera Fund Services, in 2022. Following the transaction, EAC will operate under the initial brand "EAC, a Suntera Global Company," with a full rebranding planned in the future. EAC’s co-founder, Ed Fasano, along with the current management team, will continue to lead the business.
Suntera Global’s CEO, David Hudson, highlighted that the acquisition represents a significant phase in the firm's expansion strategy. Hudson emphasized that integrating a reputable entity like EAC into Suntera's global network would enhance its ability to deliver comprehensive support throughout the fund lifecycle on an international scale. Hudson expressed optimism about the partnership, affirming that EAC would maintain its leadership structure to ensure the continuity and quality of service that existing clients expect.
In the competitive market of outsourced and operational support services, this acquisition gives Suntera a more robust US presence. For EAC, joining Suntera means accessing broader resources and infrastructure while retaining its entrepreneurial spirit and client-focused approach. Ed Fasano of EAC noted the alignment in strategic goals between the firms, underscoring the enhanced ability to serve alternative investment managers with tailored solutions.
A successful completion of this transaction in May is pivotal for Suntera's growth trajectory and integration strategy. As the company assimilates EAC, its impact on competitors and the broader outsourced services market will depend on how effectively it can leverage additional resources and extend its service capabilities across new and existing client bases.
