Aubuchon Company acquires Depault’s Ace Hardware

Aubuchon Company is set to acquire Depault’s Ace Hardware, a hardware retail outlet in Cumberland, Rhode Island. This deal, the financial terms of which remain undisclosed, will see the store rebranded as Aubuchon Ace Hardware and brings Aubuchon's total number of retail locations to 136 across 11 states.

Depault’s Ace Hardware, which has been under the stewardship of the Depault and Gonsalves families for over four decades, is recognized for its community-focused approach. William E. Aubuchon IV, president and CEO of Aubuchon, praised the families for creating a brand rooted in service and local pride. The acquisition, slated to be finalized on March 4, reflects Aubuchon’s respect for the legacy and its commitment to honoring that tradition while integrating the store into its broader network.
