SupplyOne acquires Compass Packaging Solutions

SupplyOne, Inc., a key player in North America's custom and value-added packaging solutions market, has completed the acquisition of Compass Packaging Solutions, Inc. The deal enables SupplyOne to bolster its operations in New England and expand its protective packaging capabilities, an area the company considers strategically crucial. Compass Packaging Solutions, which is headquartered in North Billerica, Massachusetts, will remain under the guidance of its current owner, Rick Meissner.

Although financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, the transaction marks SupplyOne’s 48th acquisition, highlighting its aggressive growth strategy. This is the third acquisition focused on protective packaging for the company in the past three years. The acquisition includes Compass's offerings of custom protective packaging, as well as additional services in warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and kitting. These services cater to diverse industries such as life sciences, semiconductor, technology, and defense.

For SupplyOne, strategically acquiring Compass helps enhance its customer service in New England, with SupplyOne President and CEO Todd Renehan emphasizing the alignment in customer-centric business models between the two companies. Renehan noted that Compass’s understanding of customer needs fits well with SupplyOne's innovative service approach, which is a key differentiator in the market.
