CodeRabbit Inc. has secured $143 million in a Series C funding round led by Atomico and Smash Capital, attracting investment from BMW i Ventures, Datadog Inc., Hirtle Callaghan, and SineWave Ventures, among others. Existing investors including CRV, Scale Venture Partners, Flex Capital, and Pelion Venture Partners also participated, alongside angel investors from Apple Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. The capital infusion accompanies the launch of CodeRabbit's new Agentic Change Management layer, designed to assist companies in managing the rapid proliferation of AI-generated code. This new layer aims to augment the firm's existing AI-enabled code review tool, which checks for syntax errors, logic bugs, and security vulnerabilities in real-time. The new features include CodeRabbit Triage, which prioritizes and routes pull requests, CodeRabbit Change Stack, which visually explains the impact of code changes, and CodeRabbit Security, which handles governance with full-repository scans.
