ReSource Waste Services acquires Cl Noonan Disposal

ReSource Waste Services LLC has expanded its footprint in eastern New England by acquiring C.L. Noonan Container Service Inc., a key player in the construction and demolition (C&D) debris sector. The acquisition is part of ReSource’s strategy to bolster its waste hauling operations in the region. C.L. Noonan Container Service, based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, has been operational since 1997, offering roll-off container and hauling services. The acquisition increases ReSource’s fleet capacity and enhances customer support services through improved waste and recycling solutions. The integration will combine C.L. Noonan's relationship-driven approach and operational proficiency with the broader infrastructure of ReSource's affiliate, Northeast Recycling LLC. According to Greg Leahey, co-CEO and co-founder of ReSource, the merger aims to maintain C.L. Noonan's established customer service reputation while leveraging the expanded resources of their larger network.

The acquisition aligns with ReSource’s broader strategy of collaborating with established operators to deliver scalable waste management solutions throughout Eastern New England. ReSource Waste Services operates four C&D processing facilities across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine, with significant processing capacity and modern infrastructure like an RCI-certified facility in Lewiston and a rail-served C&D transfer station in Massachusetts. These facilities collectively have an annual permitted capacity of approximately 1.4 million tons.

In the competitive C&D recycling industry, ReSource’s acquisition of C.L. Noonan signifies a strategic push to solidify its market position.
