CN Energy Group Inc. has announced its intent to acquire Blessing Logistics Ltd., a Canadian oil trading company, in a transaction valued at $2 million. Payment will be made with Class A Ordinary Shares of CN Energy, with the exact number determined by the volume-weighted average share price over five days preceding the acquisition’s closure. Blessing Logistics, established in 2015, possesses regulatory approval from the Alberta Energy Regulator, alongside qualifications to operate within the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) system. The company primarily focuses on oil trading, in addition to its activities in crude oil and asphalt exports. This acquisition is part of CN Energy's broader strategy to penetrate the North American oil market more effectively, bringing with Blessing Logistics a suite of critical operational licenses and registrations.
