Scale Computing acquires Adaptiv Networks

Scale Computing has agreed to acquire Adaptiv Networks, a provider specializing in cloud-native Software-Defined Wide-Area Network (SD-WAN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies. Although financial terms have not been disclosed, this acquisition aims to bolster Scale Computing's managed network solutions, particularly by integrating advanced SD-WAN and SASE capabilities into its existing services. This move could enhance Scale's position, especially in the Canadian market, as it strengthens its SC//AcuVigil™ offerings.

This acquisition allows Scale Computing to extend its market reach with more robust cloud connectivity and network management solutions. With Adaptiv Networks' technology, Scale will integrate enhanced network performance optimization and centralized orchestration capabilities, catering to distributed organizations requiring reliable and secure connectivity. Bill Morrow, Scale's CEO, emphasized that this integration will enable seamless secure network connections across the company's managed networking and edge computing platforms.

For Adaptiv Networks, joining forces with Scale Computing aligns with its mission to enhance network control, reliability, and security for businesses. The combined entity will serve over 9,000 clients, including prominent brands in sectors such as quick service restaurants, retail, and other distribution-heavy industries worldwide.
