Davis Events Agency acquires Whitelight Events

Davis Experience and Events has acquired Whitelight Events, marking its inaugural acquisition. The transaction, which remains confidential in its financial terms, represents a strategic step for Davis as it looks to enhance its service portfolio and drive growth. The acquisition is projected to generate up to ten new positions over a two-year span.

Davis Experience and Events, known for its extensive event management services for global brands and corporate clients, produces high-profile events, including Ireland's Culture Night and New Year's Festivals. The company, which operates across the US, UK, mainland Europe, and Canada, reported a turnover of €5 million last year with a workforce of 21 full-time staff.

Whitelight Events, founded in 2012 by Con O'Donoghue and Karen Devine, has carved out a strong presence in the Irish events sector with clients such as the National Lottery, Fingal County Council, and the Department of Children, Disability and Equality. By integrating Whitelight's capabilities, Davis aims to broaden its client service offerings and bolster its market position.

Paul Davis, CEO and founder of Davis Experience and Events, emphasized that acquiring Whitelight Events strengthens the company's service capabilities and aligns with its growth ambitions. He expressed admiration for Whitelight's track record and industry reputation and noted the acquisition as a pivotal development in Davis's strategic expansion.
