Vodafone Romania, Telekom Romania Mobile Merge for €70M

Vodafone Romania is poised to merge with Telekom Romania Mobile Communications by June 30, 2026, concluding a process initiated in October 2025. The merger, following Vodafone’s strategic acquisition of parts of Telekom Romania Mobile for €30 million, is valued at a total of €70 million. Romanian telecom operator Digi acquired Telekom’s remaining assets, including prepaid customers and spectrum, for €40 million, as part of the broader arrangement.

Vodafone's acquisition included Telekom's postpaid and business customer segments, network infrastructure, retail outlets, and workforce. With this merger, Vodafone will assume all rights and obligations of Telekom Romania Mobile.
