Unframe Inc. raises $50M
Unframe Inc., an enterprise artificial intelligence platform startup, has secured $50 million in funding led by Highland Europe. The financing round is intended to bolster the company's delivery capabilities, enhance platform offerings, and expand its executive team. Unframe, which launched publicly last year with a $50 million seed round, disclosed that it achieved $100 million in total contract value in its first year, boasting a 400% net revenue retention rate across its clients.
Founded in 2024 by Shay Levi, who previously co-founded Noname Security Inc., Unframe seeks to solve a prevalent issue in enterprise AI adoption: moving projects from pilot phase to full production. The company's managed AI delivery platform, The Framery, integrates into existing enterprise systems to deliver operational AI deployments swiftly. Unframe's offerings are adaptable, capable of running on customers' infrastructure, in the cloud, or as a hosted service, and remain independent of any specific large language model.
Unframe's strategy focuses on addressing operational bottlenecks within enterprises, providing tailored AI solutions rapidly. This approach has cultivated a land-and-expand growth model, which Chief Operating Officer Larissa Schneider credits for the high net revenue retention rate. Among the firms leveraging Unframe's platform is Credera, a consultancy under Omnicom Group Inc., which values Unframe's offerings for their ability to expedite impactful AI deployment.
The participation of existing investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Craft Ventures, TLV Partners, Third Point Ventures, Cerca Partners, and Vintage Investment Partners highlights continued confidence in Unframe's business model. Jacob Bernstein, a principal at Highland Europe, emphasized that Unframe's ability to transition enterprises from concept to production-ready AI is a key differentiator in the crowded AI market.
Going forward, Unframe's challenge will be to maintain its momentum in a sector where AI projects often stall at the integration phase. The company's future success will depend on its ability to navigate these hurdles and continue proving the scalability and effectiveness of its platform to its growing customer base.
