Nomos Ai Inc. (Norm Ai) raises $120M in Series C
Norm Ai, legally registered as Nomos Ai Inc., has secured $120 million in a Series C funding round led by Khosla Ventures. The new investment values the legal AI platform company at $1.2 billion. Additional participation came from Blackstone, Bain Capital Ventures, Craft Ventures, Coatue, Vanguard, New York Life, TIAA, and Fenwick LLP, as well as notable individuals such as Tony James, former Blackstone executive, and ex-Kirkland & Ellis Chairman Jeff Hammes. This latest capital raise increases Norm Ai's total funding to over $260 million just three years since its inception.
The company is advancing the legal sector through its platform that integrates legal operations into AI agents, which can function with minimal human oversight. Norm Ai's technology serves clients as outside legal counsel, where engineers and legal experts collaborate to build and refine AI agents, while seasoned attorneys ensure these agents are aligned with legal standards.
