Inszone Insurance Services acquires Mena Insurance Agency, Inc.

Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Mena Insurance Agency, Inc., expanding its presence in Arkansas. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. This acquisition represents Inszone's strategic decision to broaden its regional footprint in the U.S. insurance sector, adding to its portfolio of local agencies.

Mena Insurance, established in 1911 and based in Polk County, Arkansas, has been integral to the community for over a century. Currently under the leadership of P.T. Plunkett, the agency offers a range of services, including commercial, personal, and benefits coverage. Plunkett emphasized Mena’s commitment to relationships over transactions, highlighting the congruency of values between Mena and Inszone as a decisive factor in the acquisition. He noted the importance of leveraging Inszone's resources and digital presence to enhance service delivery.

Chris Walters, CEO of Sacramento-based Inszone, praised Mena Insurance for its legacy and robust client-focused operations. Walters pointed out that despite being a smaller operation, Mena's service volume matched that of much larger agencies. He expressed confidence that the integration of Mena's experienced team into Inszone would reinforce their market position and enhance value through augmented resources.
