SPIN acquires L4LM

SPIN has acquired Live For Live Music, a media platform known for its focus on the jam band and live music scene. The acquisition will see Live For Live Music's founder, Kunj Shah, take on the role of Vice President of Events at SPIN, alongside the existing team from Live For Live Music, enhancing SPIN’s capabilities in event management and media coverage related to live music.

While the financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, this strategic move enables SPIN to broaden its reach in live events and experiential programming. Live For Live Music, established in 2011, has cultivated a dedicated audience eager for editorial content and live event experiences, especially within the communities around performers like the Grateful Dead and Phish. The acquisition allows Live For Live Music to harness SPIN’s expansive infrastructure to further develop its content and audience engagement.
