FG Communities has completed the acquisition of a manufactured housing community in Scotland Neck, North Carolina. This move expands the real estate holding company's footprint in eastern North Carolina, a region where affordable housing demand is escalating.

The acquired property encompasses nearly 11 acres and includes 38 homesites. Located in Halifax County, roughly 70 miles northeast of Raleigh, Scotland Neck boasts a historic, rural charm with its roots in agriculture. The town offers proximity to key commercial areas like Rocky Mount and Wilson, enhancing its appeal to working families needing affordable living near employment centers.

Kyle Cerminara, Chairman and Co-Founder of FG Communities, highlighted the strategic fit of this acquisition, emphasizing the company's dedication to affordable housing in well-situated communities.
