Modern Pest Services acquires Envirocare Pest Control

Modern Pest Services, a subsidiary of Anticimex, has acquired Envirocare Pest Control, expanding its presence in Connecticut. The acquisition was facilitated by The Aust Group, which acted as the financial advisor for Envirocare, though financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.

Founded in 1998 by David Bisaillon, Envirocare has established a firm footing in western Connecticut, offering full-service pest and termite control to both residential and commercial clients. The company, headquartered in Watertown, Connecticut, employs over 20 service professionals and holds QualityPro accreditation. It is also an active participant in the National Pest Management Association and the Connecticut Pest Control Association. With this acquisition, Envirocare's team will now operate under Modern Pest Services.

David Bisaillon, the founder of Envirocare, emphasized the thorough process of handing over the business, stating the decision to engage The Aust Group was crucial due to their expertise and guidance throughout the transaction. Stuart Aust, principal of The Aust Group, praised both Envirocare's longstanding industry contribution and Modern Pest Services' expansion strategy, which includes increasing their footprint in the Connecticut market through this acquisition.

This acquisition highlights the ongoing consolidation trend in the pest control sector, where larger entities continue to acquire regional players to enhance service offerings and geographical reach. Anticimex, the parent firm of Modern Pest Services, is known for integrating local operations to scale its North American services, focusing on state-of-the-art pest control technologies and expanding its service portfolio.

This transaction, closed on October 5, 2025, enhances Modern Pest Services' operational capabilities and client base.
