Wabtec acquires Dellner

Wabtec Corporation has finalized the acquisition of Dellner Couplers for $1.04 billion. This move consolidates both firms' technologies in train connection systems, potentially accelerating Wabtec's growth in the passenger rail sector. The transaction involves Dellner's operations in 13 countries, supporting a global install base of approximately 100,000 couplers and 12,500 gangways.
