Colorado Rapids acquires Club Atlético Talleres

The Colorado Rapids have secured defender Miguel Navarro on loan from Club Atlético Talleres of Argentina's Primera División, a strategic move bolstering their squad as they navigate the 2026 Major League Soccer season. The deal, running through the end of the season, includes a permanent transfer option for 2027 and a club option for 2028, contingent on the receipt of Navarro's International Transfer Certificate.

Navarro, 26, previously played for Talleres after initially joining them on loan from the Rapids in January 2024. During his stint in Argentina, he appeared in 68 matches across various competitions, assisting Talleres to 28 clean sheets while notching one goal and five assists. Before his Argentine sojourn, Navarro amassed 104 appearances for Chicago Fire FC from 2020 to 2023, with Colorado acquiring him in December 2023.
